We have been asked to let you know that ground investigation works will be undertaken at the proposed Clifton Enterprise Zone site over the next five/six weeks.
The works are needed to develop the full business case (and costings) for the project; activity on the site is not an indication that construction of the Business Park will be starting soon.
Your Forum is not anti-development. Based on the feedback from the survey conducted last year, we agree with Clifton residents that there are more appropriate uses for the land (if it should be developed).
We will provide an update on our submissions to the Planning Inspector shortly.
